Iecturer introduction / 講師紹介 |
  |
I came to Tokyo in May 2008 and really enjoy living here.
I have students of all ages and abilities including office staff ladies and salary men who study business English. I also have many older students who want to study English for travel. I teach some of my students philosophy and economics, which is my speciality. My favourite student at the moment is a very young boy who knows very little English but has a lot of energy and humour.
I'm careful to check mistakes and move my students forward, but I also want my lessons to be relaxed and enjoyable. Many of my students are kind enough to tell me what is really happening in their lives and this is a real privilage. I try to be honest and encouraging in return.
My hobbies are learning Japanese, dancing, cooking and painting.. |

My name is Daniel Moss, I come from London and am now living in Tokyo with my Japanese wife. I have a degree from Newcastle University, and have also completed several TEFL English language teaching courses. I speak clear, standard English with no accent.
I have a great deal of English teaching experience to all age groups and to a variety of different nationalities - having spent many years living in America, France, Russia and now Japan. My teaching style is relaxed and friendly and I hope that I can bring out the best in my students as I am patient and understanding.
I am very interested in Japanese culture and am currently taking Japanese lessons. My interests include hiking, photography, movies and reading. I am also a keen chess player and am currently learning Shogi and Go.
I enjoy life here in Japan very much and plan to spend the next 10 or 20 years here. I also love England and am happy to talk about my beautiful country to my students and friends. |
