The Principal's Message; |
It has been (and is ) my privilege, honour and pleasure to give to our students my best ability to teach them high quality English English, from very young children to senior citizens, civil servants, businessmen, high school teachers etc.
At whatever the level I teach, one of my goals, as a teacher is to develop competency in all four skills; listening, speaking, reading and writing. These four skills are interconnected so it is essential that we concentrate on teaching all four .
I also believe that teaching should be enjoyable for both the student and the teacher and I closely adhere to the philosophy of the early Greek teachers that it is the student who is the most important person in the classroom, not the teacher!
It is my duty to help each individual student reach his/her full potential, not only in language skills but also in his/her self-esteem as an English language speaker.
I promise all our students, present and future, that I shall never waiver from these ideals. |
